The Finnish NGO Foundation for Human Rights KIOS works to promote human rights in developing countries by granting funding to human rights projects.
KIOS provides financial support to local civil society organisations that work for the promotion and protection of human rights in their own countries and regions. Our aim is to especiallysupport the promotion of the human rights of the most disadvantaged groups of the societies.

SEMINAR: Democracy and Human Rights for Development
KIOS and DEMO Finland are organising an international seminar in Helsinki on 14-15 September 2010. Key speakers will include international experts on democracy and human rights as well as partners of KIOS and DEMO from Nepal, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Rwanda. Read more on seminar pages.
