Note to grant seekers

KIOS does not hold an open invitation for new applicants or accept new proposals at the moment. KIOS will open the next call for proposals in 2017 for organisations not currently funded by KIOS. The next date for new proposals will be updated on the website.

Organisations that have already recently received KIOS funding are welcome to submit their applications throughout the year, but before submitting please contact the coordinator responsible for your project at the KIOS office.

The self-financing share will change. From August 1st 2014 the grantee must provide a self-financing share of a minimum 10 % of the total costs of the project funded by KIOS.

Event: Peace Agreements +10 years – Women and Post-Conflict Realities


KIOS is taking part in organizing a seminar in Helsinki 10th November, addressing the gender and women’s issues in post-conflict settings. The seminar is organized by Finnish Asia Europe People´s Forum AEPF, 1325 Network in Finland, KIOS, University of Helsinki and Scraps of Hope Production.
