Follow-up and assessment mission to India and Nepal

Project Coordinators Kristiina Vainio and Ylva Sjöblom from KIOS visited India and Nepal from 22 November to 11 December 2008. Both countries belong to the geographical focus area of the Foundation.

At the moment there are three KIOS funded projects going on in both countries. The aim of the trip was to visit the funded organisations, but during the trip the team also got acquainted with several other human rights organisations, which might be considered for financial support in the future.

In Nepal the KIOS team visited Kathmandu, and in India the team met with organisations in Bangalore, Delhi and Dharamsala.
